🧡First hour is an informal coffee and chat, with information and advice, and a free drop-in clinic with a dementia nurse consultant.

✨Second hour provides a pre-bookable programme of informative talks and dementia friendly treatments and therapies; carers can pre-book their own holistic therapies at the same time.Dementia Friendly therapies will vary each session and will include:

🔸Djembe for Dementia (African drumming circles)

🔸Sound Healing Therapy

🔸Cognitive Stimulation Therapy and Bi-lateral Brain Training

🔸Namaste care (gentle sensory stimulation, relaxation and massage)

🔸Art therapy

Unwind with a relaxing soundbath as you journey with an array of instruments and powerful sounds from a gong.

The perfect way to chill out your week, let the vibration of the gong de-stress, relax and rejuvinate as yoru mind is lulled back towards a deep sense of calm!

Each time you partake in a gong bath, your blissful experience may be different.

As with all things, sound baths may not be suitable for some:

Those with fractures, or joint replacements less than 6 months old

Charlotte is educated in the science of how the human body is designed to heal and combines science, consciousness, and a deep understanding of the mind-body connection.

Six years ago, Charlotte was told she had an incurable nerve condition

She chose not to accept the diagnosis or medication.

She began studying how the body heals itself and she now specialises in fascia work and light therapy.This work allows participants to experience change in real time, integrating body, mind, and awareness.

This class is 2 hours of bliss. ✨

The poses are completely floor based involving the useof props to support the body, allowing the muscles andmind to passively release tension. Soothing thenervous system and therefore, promoting a sense ofdeep relaxation.The class is limited to 8 places and is held in the safe,intimate setting that The Wellbeing Tree’s yoga studioprovides.There is a gentle warm up. You will then be guidedthrough 5 poses, which are held for increasing lengthsof time. Finally the class will conclude with an extendedrelaxation (Yoga Nidra). 🩷

 

This is a deeply relaxing session and may not besuitable for deep clinical depression and somepsychological conditions.Once booked there are no refunds for this session.
